Death Valley Racetrack – California
February 18 – 21, 2012
Limited to 6 Participants
with Jim Goldstein
Price: $899

Join photographers Jim M Goldstein and Rebecca Jackrel in Death Valley National Park, California for an amazing weekend in the valley.

Covering more than 3 million acres, Death Valley is the largest National Park in the lower 48. It is at times raw, powerful and intimidating but it can be delicate and gentle as well. With such a vast area it is easy for visitors to become overwhelmed and miss out on photographic opportunities. Let us take the guess work out of it for you. We will cover as much ground as we can but our main focus, if conditions are favorable, will be the legendary Race Track and it’s moving stones. The dirt ‘road’ to the Race Track loves to chew up tires and spit them out but our four-wheel drive vehicles have made the trip before – besides, a flat tire allows for some unexpected photo opportunities during the change! Don’t expect much sleep on this trip as we will take advantage of every opportunity from sunrise landscapes, midday macros, glorious sunsets and with clear skies – star trails at night.

To ensure the best instruction and access to this remote area of the park, this workshop will be limited to a maximum of six (6) participants. Participants must be in good physical shape and be able to hike with photo gear and withstand long hours in a vehicle over extremely bumpy dirt tracks. The Racetrack is 2.8 miles long and 1.3 miles wide. Remember, distances are deceiving in the desert.  To register for this tour please visit Jim's Website: www.JMG-Galleries.com
