Manatee viewing is big business in Florida.  Manatee need warm springs to rest and recuperate especially during cold snaps which gives people a opportunity to interact with these gentle creatures.  These interacions inspire people to set up protected areas for the manatee but is it doing more harm than good? Are we really doing them a favor by keeping them from the rest they need?<br />
